Technical Sales Manager
As a Technical Sales Manager, you’ll drive the adoption of resilient UAV data links. You will both need to execute hands-on field demonstrations where technical problems are solved on the fly, and manage the sales process as a whole.
The Mission
European security is at a turning point, and the war in Ukraine has demonstrated that unmanned systems are the decisive factor on the modern battlefield. These platforms are only as effective as the data links that connect them. This is our role, we build resilient, mass producible data links. We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager who understands the gravity of this mission and has the technical and sales grit to deliver these systems to our customers.
The Role
This is not an administrative sales role. You will take end-to-end responsibility, from initial engagement with defense companies and military stakeholders to the final commercial execution. Your job is to prove our technical superiority in the field and ensure our technology reaches the platforms where it is needed most.
Core Responsibilities
Technical Engagement: Lead deep-dive discussions with engineers and procurement officers regarding UAV data links, video transmission, and EW resilience.
Field Demonstrations: Execute hands-on hardware and software demonstrations. You must be capable of configuring and showcasing our systems’ capabilities in real-world environments.
Program Ownership: Translate complex battlefield requirements into executable customer programs.
Intelligence Feedback: Funnel technical requirements from the field back to R&D to ensure our roadmap stays ahead of evolving threats.
Qualifications
Technical Credibility: You possess a deep understanding of radio, communications, or aerospace technology. You can troubleshoot a system on-site and answer technical questions without a script.
Sales Drive: You have a proven ability to negotiate and close complex deals. You are motivated by outcomes and "winning the program," not just managing the pipeline.
Presence: You have the personality and confidence to engage with high-level military and industrial stakeholders. You persuade through technical substance and reliability.
Operational Readiness: Willingness to travel to customer sites and testing grounds. High-pressure environments do not deter you.
Communication: Native or professional fluency in German and English is mandatory.
Perspective
We are looking for a "tech person" with a personality who can sell—someone who values mission success over bureaucracy. If you prefer filling out CRM forms to winning a technical field trial, this is not the role for you.
