Technical Business Developer
As a Technical Business Developer, you’ll drive the adoption of resilient UAV data links. You will both need to help with hands-on field demonstrations, and manage the sales pipeline and business development process as a whole.
The Mission
European security is at a turning point. The war in Ukraine has proven that unmanned systems are the decisive factor on the modern battlefield, but these platforms are only as effective as the data links that connect them. We build the resilient, mass-producible data links that make these systems viable. We are looking for a Business Development Manager (Germany) who understands the gravity of this mission and possesses the strategic grit to integrate our technology into the heart of European defense.
The Role
This is a high-impact growth role. You will take ownership of our expansion within the German and broader European defense markets. Your goal is to identify key programs, navigate complex procurement cycles, and build lasting partnerships with defense primes and military stakeholders. You are the bridge between our cutting-edge engineering and the operational needs of the end-user, ensuring our technology reaches the platforms where it is needed most.
Core Responsibilities
Market Growth & Engagement: Identify and penetrate key defense programs. You will lead the "front-end" of the sale, from initial high-level outreach to securing long-term contracts with major industrial players and MoDs.
Strategic Relationship Management: Navigate the German defense landscape. You will build and maintain a network of stakeholders, including procurement officers, program managers, and technical leads at Tier-1 defense companies.
Operational Translation: Translate complex battlefield requirements into clear commercial opportunities. You’ll work closely with our technical teams to ensure our value proposition aligns with the customer’s operational reality.
Demonstration Management: While you don't need to be the lead engineer, you will oversee field trials and technical demonstrations, ensuring the customer sees the strategic value and reliability of our systems in action.
Intelligence Feedback: Act as the "eyes and ears" on the ground, funneling market trends and customer requirements back to R&D to keep our roadmap ahead of the threat.
Qualifications
Strategic Sales Track Record: You have experience in selling.
Technical Literacy: You aren't afraid of deep tech. You understand the fundamentals of radio, communications, or electronic warfare and can articulate technical advantages without needing a script.
Presence & Network: You have the confidence to engage with high-level military and industrial decision-makers.
Operational Readiness: Willingness to travel to customer sites and testing grounds. You thrive in high-pressure, mission-driven environments.
Communication: Native-level fluency in German and professional fluency in English is mandatory.
